Getting There

Fly to Denpasar from most Australian capital cities for around $800 - $1000
less for specials - often a few nights accomodation thrown in.

Budget

You can do Bali on almost any budget, from $30 a day for the hardcore traveller
or $200 or more for the luxury traveller.

Climate

Boardshorts and rash vest only. Average air temperature 27 degrees.
Average water temperature 22 degrees. Bring plenty of sunscreen.

Waves

Incredibly perfect, in the small to medium and occassionally large range.
Long, hollow reef breaks suited to the experienced surfer.
Also many beachbreaks perfect for learning to surf on the correct conditions.

Quick Tip

Official travel warnings remain in place for all of Indonesia, including Bali.
If you're concerned avoid the tourist traps and nightlife centre of Kuta and hang out on
the Bhukit Peninsula. You will end up getting more surf time, save a fortune in coin,
see the other side of the big name surf breaks at dawn and dusk when the day trippers leave.
