Busy Days Ahead
The month of May kicks off with a busy month ahead for surf events. In Pangandaran,West Java there will be watermen training programs run by SPORA organisation that John Minogue is managing and this event runs from May 4th - 2014 to May 8th 2014. There will be prizes and giveaways to all individuals that are involved and SSR Surfboards will be donating a surfboard prize to the person who displays the best waterman skills and professional attitude to their training programe.
On May 9th - May 12th Pangandaran Beach will again be busy with lifeguarding competitors training and competing for the 2014 Indonesian Club Championship Title.
Surf Clubs from all over Java and Bali will battle it out and compete for this years Championship Club Award with assistance from Australian Surf Lifesaving also involved with the activities planned.
Later in the month of May, Indonesian and International surfers will heading off to East Java to compete at Red Island an event which is sponsored by East Java Tourism Association. This contest will run from May 23rd - May 26th.Pangandaran surfer Dian Hardiyanto will also be competing in East Java with assistance from Australian sponsor SSR.
