2016 Bells Beach Festival

The Bells Beach Festival which is the next stop on the World Surf League Tour is due to get underway later this week. The world's best male and female surfers will now head to Bells Beach in Melbourne,Victoria for the next event on the world tour. The contest which is hosted by Rip Curl is one of the longest running surf festivals in Australia and is endorsed by the association of World Professional Surfers as a major grand slam contest. All surfers competing at The Rip Curl Pro want the opportunity to win the Bells championship and lift the trophy and ring the bell, which follows the tradition of many former greats who have won this grass roots surfing title.
