World Surf Tour Comes To Mentawai Islands

The World Surf Tour has finally come to the Mentawai Islands with a contest due to kick off in late April 2016. The Mentawai region is a remote chain of islands sitting off the coast of Padang in Sumatra, Indonesia and is host to some of the most perfect surfing locations to be found in the world. It has long been a favourite of International travelling surfers for over 20 years. The surf contest location is at Lances Right and will be a favourite venue for all championship tour surfers that are competing.
