The World Title 2016 - Congratulations John John Florence Of Hawaii

Congratulations to surfer John John Florence who is this year's 2016 Men's World Champion from Hawaii. John John won the last event the Rip Curl Festival in Portugal this week and put himself in an unbeatable position on the leaderboard. The World Surf League tour now moves onto the final events of the season in Hawaii. Only Gabriel Medina - Brazil and Matt Wilkinson from Australia were the only other surfers left in the world title race but were eliminated in Portugal in the earlier rounds. The world title championship is now returning to Hawaii with John John Florence after a season in which Florence dominated his rival competitive surfers.
